Athraithe Dearaidh
Mo bhuíochas daoibhse a bhfuil moltaí déanta agaibh maidir leis an suíomh. Tá cúpla mion-athrú déanta agam ar an ndearadh anois ar mhaithe le so-léiteacht agus an "t" athraithe go litir bheag sa cheann-teideal.

Can you provide an English translation as well. I did Irish at school but I've forgotten most of it, except a few words.e.g leaba means bed.
Gabh mo leithscéal, but I will write this message in English as I´ve just started learning Irish!
Janice, I don´t understand most of it either, but blogging is an enough time consuming activity as to translate everything! And I´m sure most of the creativity of the post would be lost in the translation anyway...
Hi Janice, agus fáilte romhat!
Go raibh maith agat as suim a chur i mo bhlog. However, it is just some guy's blog, it's not worth translating! If you are interested in blogs, you know that there is no shortage of much better blogs in English.
If you are interested in practising your Irish, there are some excellent resources on-line. I intend posting some of these here soon, but in the meantime, you should try out www.beo.ie. It's a monthly on-line magazine, and the articles come with an extensive glossary of words and phrases which can be accessed by hovering your mouse over underlined words in the text.
And you are very welcome here. Whatever your standard of Irish, feel free to try it out here! If it helps you, I post some of the more difficult expressions over on my other blog Breacleabhar an Imill. I would also recommend www.englishirishdictionary.com .
Raïm, fáilte romhatsa anseo! Cad as duit féin? Maith thú - tá Béarla maith agat maraon le do theanga féin (Spáinnis, an ea?) - agus tá tú tosaithe ar an nGaeilge anois! :-)
Raïm, tá dul amú orm. An sa Chatalóinis atá do Bhlag? (Chím go bhfuil tú ag léamh blaganna i roinnt mhaith teangacha!)
Go raibh maith agat, an t-Imeallach! Is as an gCatalon dom agus tá mo Bhlag sa Chatalóinis é. Cinnte, is maith liom na teangacha agus tá mé ag foghlaim Gaeilge ach tá sí chrua!
Buffffffffffffffff!
Anois, bain an fleiscín de! An tImeall!
Tá mo leabhar gramadaí cíortha agam agus níor fhéadas teacht ar aon riail dá leithéid scríofa ann, a Shéamais. Ach, thugas fé ndeara go leanann téacs mo leabhair an riail mar sin féin: tá tagairt ann do "An tAlt". An-ait, níor thugas riamh fé ndeara é!
Mar sin, a Shéamais, fair play, glacaim leis go bhfuil an ceart agat - ach fós ní bhraitheann sé ceart domsa! Caithfidh mé machnamh a dhéanamh air. Bí ag faire! :-)
